PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Alkashield is a specialized primer formulated to block strong alkalis from migrating from cementitious surfaces, ensuring the integrity and longevity of the entire paint system. It is an essential first step when painting on cement, concrete, or newly plastered surfaces where alkaline activity could otherwise cause premature paint failure.

Precautions

  • Avoid skin and eye contact — use gloves, goggles, and face masks
  • Provide adequate ventilation during and after application
  • If skin contact occurs, wash thoroughly with soap and water
  • If eye contact occurs, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention
  • Allow new plaster and concrete to cure before applying primer
  • Ensure surface is clean and free from dust and contaminants
