The Production Assistant is the engine room of the factory floor. This is a hands-on, physical role that supports the Production Lead in executing daily output. The right candidate is hardworking, reliable and precise ; someone who takes instruction well and shows up consistently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support the Production Lead in all day-to-day manufacturing activities including mixing, filling and packaging
2. Prepare raw materials for production batches as directed, including weighing,
   measuring and transferring materials
3. Operate filling and labelling equipment under supervision
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor at all times
5. Follow all production schedules and batch instructions accurately; report any
   deviations immediately
6. Assist with loading and offloading of raw materials and finished goods within the factory
7. Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times
8. Support the Inventory Officer with stock counts and raw material organization when required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Prior experience in a paint, chemical, food or general manufacturing environment is preferred
2. Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks including lifting and moving
   production materials
3. Reliable, punctual and able to follow detailed instructions accurately
4. Must be Lagos-based and live within reasonable proximity to Ikorodu. No relocation considered

The Colour Matcher at the depot is the face of Ignite Paints technical expertise for walk-in customers. Unlike the factory Colour Matcher who works in batch production, this role deals directly with customers on the spot, interpreting their colour vision and matching it accurately through manual mixing. Speed, accuracy and a pleasant customer manner are all equally important.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Produce accurate custom colour matches for walk-in and pre-ordered customer requests through manual mixing of pigments, tinters and base paints
2. Receive colour requests from customers by physical sample, photo reference, shade card selection or colour code and reproduce them accurately by hand
3. Advise customers on colour selection, finish options and product suitability for their specific project type
4. Maintain accurate records of every colour job completed including formula and pigment ratios for repeat order reference
5. Monitor colourant and pigment stock at the depot and raise replenishment requests to Procurement before stock runs out
6. Work alongside the Customer Service Rep to ensure a smooth customer experience from colour enquiry to product handover

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Technical knowledge of colour mixing, pigment systems and manual colour matching in a paint or coatings environment
2. Prior customer-facing experience in a paint depot, retail or trade counter environment is strongly preferred
3. Candidates must complete a practical colour matching test as part of the selection process. Only candidates who pass will be considered
4. Friendly, professional manner; this role is visible to customers and must reflect the Ignite Paints brand positively

The Production Assistant at the depot keeps the physical operation moving. From receiving factory deliveries and organising stock, to picking customer orders and loading vehicles; this role is the backbone of depot logistics. The right candidate is physically fit, dependable and takes pride in keeping things orderly and accurate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Receive finished goods deliveries from the factory, verify quantities and sign off on delivery documentation
2. Organize and maintain the depot stock area; ensure products are correctly stacked and clearly labelled
3. Conduct regular stock counts and report inventory levels to the Accounts Officer
4. Pick and prepare customer orders for collection or dispatch
5. Load customer vehicles and delivery transport safely and efficiently
6. Monitor finished goods stock levels and flag low-stock situations to the General Manager promptly

1. Prior experience in a warehouse, depot, factory or paint retail environment is preferred

The Inventory Officer is the custodian of all stock at the Ignite Paints factory; raw materials coming in and finished goods going out. Without accurate inventory, production cannot be planned and deliveries cannot be fulfilled. This role requires someone meticulous, trustworthy and structured.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain accurate records of all raw materials received at the factory including quantity, batch number, supplier details and date of receipt
2. Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock counts for all raw materials and finished goods
3. Receive and inspect incoming raw material deliveries; verify quantities against purchase orders and flag discrepancies immediately
4. Issue raw materials to the production floor against approved production schedules and maintain a detailed issuance log
5. Monitor raw material stock levels continuously and raise reorder requests before stock reaches minimum threshold
6. Maintain organised and clearly labelled storage of all raw materials and finished goods
7. Track finished goods output from production and coordinate with the GM on dispatch readiness
8. Prepare and submit weekly inventory reports to the General Manager

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 2 years experience in an inventory, stores or warehouse management role, preferably in manufacturing
2. Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
3. Experience maintaining physical and digital stock records; proficiency in spreadsheets is required
4. Honest and trustworthy; this role has direct oversight of raw material and finished goods assets
5. Must be Lagos-based and live within reasonable proximity to Ikorodu. No relocation considered

The Accounts and Procurement Officer is one of the most important hires for Ignite Paints at this stage of growth. This role combines financial control with raw material sourcing and is the engine behind both what goes into production and how money flows through the business. It demands someone with strong accounts experience, high integrity and the ability to manage multiple functions with precision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Source and procure all raw materials required for paint production.
2. Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers; negotiate pricing, lead times and payment terms
3. Raise and track purchase orders from initiation through to delivery confirmation
4. Maintain accurate books of accounts; record all income, expenses and transactions daily
5. Prepare and process payroll for all staff on a monthly basis
6. Handle all invoicing to customers and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments
7. Manage petty cash and reconcile against receipts weekly
8. Ensure tax compliance; prepare and file relevant statutory deductions and returns
9. Provide monthly financial summaries and expenditure reports to management

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 2 years experience in an accounts or finance officer role
2. Solid bookkeeping skills; must accurately record, reconcile and report on all financial transactions
3. Experience processing payroll and handling tax and statutory compliance obligations
4. Proficiency in accounting software or spreadsheets for financial record-keeping
5. Honest, trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information with complete discretion

The Sales Officer is Ignite Paints feet on the ground in the Lagos trade market. This role is responsible for growing our retail and distributor network, collecting orders and building lasting relationships with hardware stores, paint retailers and building materials merchants. It is a field-first role that demands hustle, professionalism and a deep knowledge of the Lagos paint trade.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Execute a structured weekly field sales schedule covering hardware stores, paint retailers, building materials markets and distributors across Lagos
2. Prospect and onboard new retail and distribution accounts
3. Manage and deepen relationships with existing accounts through regular visits and after-sales follow-up
4. Collect, record and confirm orders from customers in the field
5. Present Ignite Paints products professionally, including specialty finishes such as Lime Wash, Travertino and Velvet Paint
6. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the Managing Director
7. Provide weekly field reports covering accounts visited, orders collected, competitor activity and market feedback
8. Follow up on overdue payments from customers in coordination with the Accounts Officer
9. Represent Ignite Paints at trade events and product activations as required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 2 years proven field sales experience in the paint, building materials, coatings or FMCG sector
2. Strong existing trade network within the Lagos market is a significant advantage
3. Self-motivated and target-driven; comfortable working independently in the field without daily supervision
4. Strong communication and negotiation skills
